About the vendor and its products

Lightwave is a British company offering a fairly broad range of products for the smart home:

• Smart lighting, in the form of wired, smart dimmers with 1-3 switches (these are a little special since they don’t require a neutral wire for connection)

• Smart power outlets, which in contrast to smart plugs are meant to replace an existing outlet. For a long time, though only came in versions suited for UK type outlets (single or double), but have now been launched for mainland Europe as well, in some different types/colors (though only single)

• Various smart thermostats, for radiator, boiler, etc.

• Several types of sensors, e.g., for motion, contact, etc..

• Control devices, covering a broad range of switches, remote controls, etc.

• Notice that many of the products require a separate base station, Link Plus

There is a separate Lightwave app for controlling the products. In addition, the products are compatible with IFTTT, Apple Home, Amazon Echo, and Google Assistant
