About the vendor and its products

Bond is really just one product, a smart device that allows you to remotely control a ceiling fan that previously could only be controlled using an old-fashioned remote control. I considered this as a possible solution for our master bedroom ceiling fan, but since it is only connected to a manual wall switch and otherwise controlled using draw chains, that would not work. Also, Bond is not officially for sale in Norway, but is said to work here. Bond says on their web pages that they plan to launch more products in the future, like other climate control solutions, shades/blinds, and garage door controllers.

Bond offers its own Bond app, but is also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT. In addition, there is a Homebridge plugin for Bond.
