About the vendor and its products

Robin Telecom is a Dutch company focused on communications solutions of different types. These are primarily geared toward the professional market, but at CES 2019, the company announced a Apple Home compatible smart doorbell; ProLine Doorbell. This is perhaps also intended more for companies than private homes, especially considering the price of about 700 USD, but it would be a very good product for private homes as well. In November 2019, a smaller and somewhat less pricey edition was launched, Robin ProLine Compact, which also comes in some different colors.

Our experiences

I have no experiences with this product, but in our frustration of Ring’s failure to keep its promise of Apple Home support for our current doorbell, it is good to see that other companies can make this work.
