About the vendor and its products

Panasonic is of course a huge manufacturer of all kinds of consumer electronics, mostly within categories that have little relevance for smart homes. Some more relevant products, though, are:

• Security/alarm system, consisting partly of core devices like a base station and siren as well as various other accessories

• Different sensors for monitoring, e.g., window/door sensor, motion sensor, glass breakage sensor, and water leak sensor

• Surveillance cameras, for both indoor and outdoor use

• Smart plug

The system is built on DECT for communication Panasonic has a dedicated app for controlling the security system. Integration with other platforms is rather limited, as far as I understand there is support for Amazon Alexa, but otherwise very little.
