About the vendor and its products
Calex is a Dutch company that produces a broad range of smart home products. These are distributed across a fairly standard set of categories:
Smart lighting, in the shape of both bulbs and smart lamps
Smart plugs and power strips
Smart climate control, such as fans, heater, etc.
Smart cameras and doorbell
Various sensors
And some others
There is a dedicated Calex app, but the products are based on Tuya og can thus be set up and controlled using the Smart Life app or other apps/base stations that support Tuya.

Both these lamps were installed where we previously had existing ceiling lamps with smart bulbs. The advantage of these smart lamps is that they produce a much brighter light that any smart bulb on the market. In addition, they are quite nice to look at and they work perfectly in Apple Home using the Tuya plugin in Homebridge. |
