About the vendor and its products

Hama is an old, German company known for accessories for photography, audio, etc. The last years, it has also launched products for the smart home, and the product selection is presented slightly differently depending on which country page one visits. Using somewhat mixed links, the products seem to span (these are all based on WiFi for communication, thus no need for a base station):

• Smart light bulbs, in some different versions:

• White light with E27 socket

• Colored light with E27 socket

• Square wall lamp 10 cm with white light, for use indoor or outdoor

• Smart light switch, Hama WiFi Touch Wall Switch, wired wall switch with glass touch plate

• Smart relay switch, Hama WiFi Upgrade Switch for Lights and Sockets, for installation behind a traditional wall switch

• Smart plugs, also these in some different versions (all for EU power plugs):

• Smart plug 10 A

• Smart plug 10 A, smaller, circular version

• Smart plug 16 A, with power consumption measurement

• Two sensors:

• Motion sensor, Hama WiFi Motion Detector

• Security camera, Hama WiFi-Kamera 1080p, with built-in motion sensor and night function, for indoor use

• In addition, there are a number of smart speakers, using Alexa as voice assistant

There is a dedicated Hama Smart Solution app for controlling the products, in addition there is support for Amazon Alexa.
