Greenhouse
On this page, I present the actual solutions installed in the greenhouse of our smart home, with links to specific products used and how these have been set up
This room contains solutions for the following systems (notice that on phones, the table might only be displayed in landscape mode):

Description of the solutions in this room
Here in the greenhouse, there is very little technology, in part because there is no electric power. The primary device is a Shelly sensor with e-ink screen, see picture below, which provides data about temperature, humidity, and light level.

With spring arriving late in 2020, the gardener in the house determined that some pre-cultivation of plants was required, creating a need for heating in the greenhouse. We had already acquired a greenhouse heater, but not put it to use since it does not have a proper thermostat, just a setting between min and max, and we feared it would consume a lot of power. By coincidence, at the same time, I came across a free mart plug for outdoor use, see picture below.
By using an extension cord to bring temporary power to the greenhouse and connecting the heater to the smart plug, we can remotely turn the oven on and off. This is controlled based on the temperature measured by the Shelly sensor through a setup where the oven turns on if the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius and off again when it reaches 14 degrees.

The modest overview for the greenhouse looks like this:
