About the vendor and its products
VOCOlinc offers a number of smart home products (some of the products are not presented on the official site, but are still for sale through different channels):
Smart light bulbs, with E26/E27 socket, respectively L2 in white and L3 in colored light
Smart lightstrip, LS3, which can also be extended
Smart lamps, both for desk, DL2201, and floor, FL2201, which in practice is the smart lightstrip mounted in a stand
Smart plugs, in some different versions, PM5, which has a night light and two USB-A ports on the top, one called VP5 Smartbar (for American plug) and VP3 (for European plug)
Smart power strip, PM2E, with three power outlets and 2/3 USB-A ports (only for American plug), and with three European outlets, VP2
Smart contact sensor, VS1, primarily for door/window, based on bluetooth
Smart door lock, T-GUARD Smart Lock, for deadbolt locks
Smart diffuser, called FlowerBud Smart Aroma Diffuser, which spreads scent based on essential oils, with built-in light
Smart air purifier, VOCOlinc Smart Air Purifier VAP1, which can handle up to 100 m2
Smart humidifier, MistFlow Air Humidifier VH1, with built-in light
There is a dedicated LinkWise app, but the products also have broad integration support, with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home.

This was in some ways a positive experience, but it was partly vulnerable to WiFi connection losses, as it only works on 2.4 GHz, and partly if one has pets in the house, one must make sure that the essential oils used are not harmful to the pets. It was therefore uninstalled. |
