About the vendor and its products

Keymitt seems to be a company located in Luxembourg, which has developed a smart lock. The lock is available for pre-orders, but has not been officially launched yet. There seems to be two products forthcoming:

• Smart Lock, which claims to be compatible with most types of locks in Europe, USA, and Japan, without having to replace the existing lock

• Wi-fi Hub, which is not required to use the smart lock, but the hub will allow remote control of the lock as well as smart home integration

The site does not specifically describe a separate Keymitt app, but it seems this is the way to control the lock. There is also support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Home. It also seems that it will be possible to connect the lock to an existing Z-wave/Zigbee home system, and there is also reference to IFTTT.
