About the vendor and its products

Mysa is a Canadian company that has specialized in smart thermostats, and more specifically thermostats for somewhat particular applications. Per today, there are two types available:

• Mysa for Electric Baseboard Heaters, a thermostat for electric panel heaters. This seems to work in both 110 and 240 V systems, but requires that the heater already is controlled from an external thermostat and not operated by a knob on the heater itself

• Mysa Smart Thermostat for Electric In-Floor Heating, a thermostat for in-floor heating. Also this works with both 110 and 240 V systems, but requires a certain setup in terms of type of heating and existing thermostat. Mysa offers a step-by-step compatibility checker that guides you through determining whether your system will work

The thermostats are controlled using a Mysa app, but there is also broad support for other platforms; Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, and IFTTT.
