About the vendor and its products

Brilliant is an American company that started by offering an innovative solution for controlling the smart home, by allowing the replacement of old light switches with a smart control panel. In 2020, a couple of other products were added so that now the following are available:

• Smart Home Control, which as mentioned is a touch screen that is installed, connected to the existing wiring, in stead of a light switch. There are versions for 1-4 switches and it can be programmed to act as a control panel for a smart home.

• Smart Dimmer Switch, a wired smart dimmer that can control lights, fans, audio devices, etc.

• Smart Plug, which requires that a Brilliant Control panel has been installed

Brilliant has its own Smart Home Control app, but is also kompatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Home, as well as integration with a number of other manufacturers. Notice that all Brilliant products only work in 120 V systems.
